SURVIVOR SPEAKOUT GUIDELINES FOR ATTENDING IN PERSON

  • You must bring your photo ID.
  • Be prepared to take a breathalyzer test.
  • Court ordered offenders appearing to be under the influence of any illegal substance, or registering any result over .00 when administered an onsite breathalyzer test will be reported in violation of a condition of probation.
  • The Danville location panel begins at 6:30pm sharp. You should be in the room no later than 6:15pm.
  • The Brownsburg location panel begins at 10:00am sharp. You should be in the room no later than 9:45am.
  • If you are late, or are a “No Show” you must re-register to attend another date and pay the fee again.
  • There are NO REFUNDS for ANY reason.
  • The fee to attend in person is $45.00. (Subject to change)
  • If arrangements are made in advance for you to pay your fee with cash, the fee to attend will be $50.00. (exact change required)
  • No children under the age of fifteen (15) will be admitted unless they have been court ordered to attend or a parent or legal guardian also in attendance signs a waiver the day of the panel.
  • No gum, hats, food, drinks, cameras or recording devices of any kind will be allowed.
  • Cell phones and other electronic devices must be turned off.
  • You must remove hats, headbands and head coverings upon entering the presentation room out of respect for the speakers.
  • Your probation officer will be notified that you attended if you attend and meet all of the guidelines.
  • If you are on a diversion plea you will need to request a confirmation letter from us that you can present to your attorney for the court.
  • If for any reason the panel you choose is canceled by Survivor Speakout you will be notified by email or telephone as far in advance as possible and you will be rescheduled for another panel date. You will not have to pay a fee to reschedule if Survivor Speakout cancels a panel.
  • If local, state or federal Covid19 protocols are in place you will be required to wear a mask.
  • Guests of court ordered offenders are welcome to attend at no charge, but must abide by all of the guidelines.
